ConsumerAffairs is nothing without our all-star team. Every now and then, we like to feature the employees who go above and beyond, helping us achieve our mission of helping consumers and brands make smart decisions.

Today, we're meeting up with Lauren Grant from our Client Success team. Lauren has been with ConsumerAffairs for almost four years and is dedicated to helping our partner brands succeed.

Here's a little more about what makes Lauren great!

What is your favorite thing about being a Client Success Manager?

Seeing the "aha!" moment after a company has analyzed and taken to heart their customers' feedback. I turn into a little heart-eye emoji every time I talk to a client that understands the importance of negative feedback. They understand negative reviews are not the end of the world and can actually help them improve their business, improve products, etc. Those are the big wins for our team.

Tell us about some of your favorite things.

Traveling. Hiking. Going to concerts (I'm a fan of the "back-to-back" where I extend myself way too thin by going to shows one night after the other). Curling up with a big book and a giant cup of coffee on a rainy Sunday. Cold, overcast Fall days when the leaves are really crunchy. Who doesn't love going out of their way to step on crunchy leaves?

What do you love about living in Tulsa?

I love hearing peoples' reactions to Tulsa who are visiting for the first time. There's still this somewhat preconceived notion of Oklahoma and I feel really proud to hear how surprised people are at all we have to offer.  The restaurants, the bars, the local beer and music, Guthrie Green, Oktoberfest, Tulsa Tough (aka: Crybaby Hill)...there's just so much that we've done as a city in the past 5-10 years; it's really rewarding as a Tulsan to be a part of such amazing growth and revitalization. Also, TACOS DON FRANCISCO!

Which app on your phone do you use the most?

Either Spotify or Kindle.

What is your favorite quote?

"Let all be well, be well." - Lord Tennyson

Favorite ConsumerAffairs perk?

Unlimited PTO is pretty hard to beat. My family loves to travel, so it's great to be able to see my family more frequently and travel to new places!

Tell us about a recent vacation.

I'd rather talk about two upcoming trips next year: Spain/Portugal with my Dad for his 60th birthday then Southeast Asia with my Mom for her 60th birthday! Bring on the elephant rides, temple tours and endless espresso trips on the coast of Spain!

What was your first job?

"Coffee artist" @ Panera Bread.

If you were an ice cream, what flavor would you be and why?

Coffee, coffee, buzzbuzzbuzz! - Ben & Jerry's (I'm a bit of sweet and bitter in every bite!)
