ConsumerAffairs is nothing without our all-star team. Every now and then, we like to feature the employees who go above and beyond, helping us achieve our mission of helping consumers and brands make smart decisions.

Today, we're meeting up with Corinne Parkinson from our Client Success team. Corinne has been with ConsumerAffairs for one year and is dedicated to helping our partner brands succeed.

Here's a little more about what makes Corinne great!

What is your favorite thing about being a Client Success Manager?

By nature, I'm a connector. I truly enjoy building close relationships and being an advocate for my clients. One of the most rewarding things about this role is being able to empower customers. I feel like a quarterback sprinting down the field -- fostering connections while creatively solving problems.

What do you love about living in Tulsa?

I recently moved to Tulsa from Seattle about a year ago, and I can tell you, Tulsa will exceed your expectations! Not only is there more sunshine all year round, you'll also meet some of the kindest people everywhere you go. Warm summers are my favorite because I can easily escape to lakes or rivers and have found a new love for mountain biking.

Which app on your phone do you use the most?

I'm currently learning a new language, so I've been practicing with Duolingo daily.

What is your favorite quote?

"Focus on what you can control."

Favorite ConsumerAffairs perk?

ConsumerAffairs has been inclusive, expansive, and progressive in ways that companies in major tech hubs rival. As an avid traveler, I love our unlimited PTO policy.

Tell us about a recent vacation.

My future in-laws and I recently traveled to Croatia! We started in Zagreb, and continued our adventures to Zadar, Split, Havar, and Dubrovnik. We were able to get a bit of island beach life mixed in with ancient city fun. As major Game of Throne fans, each family member dressed as one of the characters from the show and walked around Dubrovnik. I've never been asked to take that many selfies with strangers before!

What was your first job?

I was a sales associate at the only department store on a military base in Germany.

If you were an ice cream, what flavor would you be and why?

The classic Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough -- the chunkier, the better! Brings me back to my childhood every time.
